Hi all, this is the first entry in the game development log.

Not much to say today -- I've been working this week on the underlying network infrastructure; that is, getting the database and game server to communicate well, setting up communications between the game server and client (players), and setting up authentication securely so that your password is safe during transit between the client and server, which has taken quite a while to get working.

Hoping to get some visuals up in the coming months, but right now it's just a console :)

Just an update to say the game is still going to be worked on shortly but I'm currently pretty busy and need to get an SSL certificate sorted for the server for the use of the site and website to avoid insecure data transfers.
