Earn them honestly. Achievements are for taking part in island life. Spamming the forum, sending junk messages, making throwaway trades or any other attempt to farm a badge counts as spam and breaks the site rules. Badges earned that way will be revoked, and repeat offenders can lose posting privileges. If it wouldn't be fun for the person on the other end, don't do it.
