Hello!

As part of the work to modernise the site, I'm hoping to improve some of our default avatar components.

If you have a creative new take on them, feel free to submit your ideas to the store as normal items members can buy, and then post a link to them in this forum post.

If an item is ultimately accepted, you'll be credited with one year of Island Club (this does not stack with multiple items accepted, sorry!), $1,000 bux, and be permanently credited on the item.

Old users will keep their old defaults equipped but also get given the new items. New users joining will only get the new defaults, but they will be able to buy the old defaults for free.

Goals:

  • Ideally remain compatible with existing items, so no crazy body shape changes
  • Keep the spirit of the site
  • Most keen to replace the eyes and hair
